LNR Cadets win National Cross Country Colours

Specail thanks to Cdt SSgt Amy Kerridge who stepped in at the last minute to ensure that Eastern District had a full Senior Girls team. She didn't get the call until the morning we were travelling and was on a school trip, but still got there on time.

Without her District would not have been able to win the team race. That said, all the cadets were at the their appropriate pick ups on time and were extremely well behaved throughout, making the whole event most enjoyable for the instructors.
Melissa Mariott of F Squadron won an individual Silver in the Senior Girls events and Regional cadets as a whole picked up three individual gold medals, two more individual silvers and two individual bronze medals.
All together the Eastern Region team collected 23 gold medals, 7 silver  and 3 bronze.......a total of 33 out of the 42 available. Not quite as goos as last year, but pretty damn close!

Junior Girls:  
4th  COOLEDGE  

Intermediate Girls: 
10th  BOUTTIER-BUTLER 

Senior Girls: 
2nd  MARRIOTT
4th KERRIDGE
5th JOHNSON.
