Clean Sweep For LNR at Eastern Region Hockey Championships

This year's tournament was held at King’s Lynn, Norfolk on Saturday 27 February 2011 hosted by Norfolk ACF and the Pelicans Hockey Club, who also supplied the match officials

Five Counties competed in the round robin tournament where there was plenty of entertaining hockey to be seen.

Our individual match scores were:

Our team which comprised:
Walker & Oliver (Dixie Det), Hale S, Crichton, Foster & Pearson(Melton), Davidson (St Georges) Forsyth (Alex) and
Mansfield, Slann,Postlethwaite, Burton Alduous & Hankins (PWS), have all been selected to represent Eastern Region at the National Hockey Championships to be held in York on 2nd July 2011 where we hope to win back the title they won in 2009.

They were presented with the trophy and winners medals by Colonel D Hedges, Commandant of Norfolk ACF.

Congratulations to all the cadets on such a convincing victory and many thanks to SMI Richardson and her staff for all their hard work managing and supporting the team on the day.
