A Company Cadet 100 1st Round Results

The results are now in and are given below.

Scoring is done on the points dropped system. All scoring is done by outward gauging, i.e. the entire hole has to be in a ring to count as that score, and so the scores below are excellent as this competition is of the highest standard.
It is possible to drop 200 points if no shots are on the targets. The top Cadet in the country dropped 2 points.

In the team section of the competition our teams scored as below.

A Team (Hawkins/Dyson/Coggin/Knight)19th overall with 141 points dropped and 1st in the Royal Anglian section

B Team (Fallon/Bilbe/Gaydon/Naseby)38th overall with 249 points dropped and 2nd in the Royal Anglian section

306 teams were entered, of whom 106 teams had targets scored and listed.

Our two teams were the only two teams badged Royal Anglian, but our scores would have given us victory in both the previous years. This is an excellent result for A Company, well done to all who participated.

Congratulations to Salamanca Detachment on their win.

85 teams entered the competition, of which 46 were scored. Had Talavera had a 4th shooter scoring at the same average then they could have easily been first, if you are not in you can’t win!!!! Under the rules in force the top 50% go through to the second round, so all of the teams above go into the second round.

The date for this is provisionally Saturday the 5th of February.
