B Squadron Cross Country 2011 |
On a sunny but cold morning, more than sixty cadets endeavoured to get up early and take part in the Annual B Squadron Cross Country Competition |

Held at Bosworth College on Sunday 4th December, the close fought contest was won by Dixie Troop with Desford Troop close runners-up. There were some very good individual performances and the team events were well fought with every cadet gave 110%. There were some very tired cadets crossing the finishing line..... The OC, Major Walton, said, "I was extremely pleased to see that so many of our cadets made the effort to attend today. It shows great commitment to their troops and is very much appreciated by the adult staff who work so hard to make these events possible. Congratulations to Dixie Troop on their success for the second year in a row. In the new year we will be competing in the County Cross Country Competition; we were just pipped at the post by D Company last year - let's try our best to bring the Cup back to B Squadron in 2012!" |
