Company Competition Weekend - February 2008
Congratulations to New Parks detachment,
this years winners of the annual ‘C’ (Tiger) Company Competition
Weekend.
Defending champions Blackbird Road saw the title slip from their grasp
as the team from New Parks. led by cadet Sergeant Burrows dominated this
years competition.
The winning team (pictured above) collected the trophy from the OC, Major
Walton at the end of the weekend which saw cadets and NCO’s from
all of ‘C’ (Tiger) Company’s detachments being tested
both physically and mentally.
Commenting on their victory the winning teams captain, Sergeant Burrow’s
said; “We’re well pleased that we beat Blackbird Road, especially
seeing as we’d got such a young team.”
