C Company NewsMinden Cadets Assist RBL During Remembrance WeekendWe were approached by the Thurmaston Branch of the British Legion to help with this year's poppy collection on Saturday 12th November. As a result, Cdt Cpl Wzryszcz, Cdt Newton, CSgt Mellor, PI Jarvis, CA Mrs Wells and myself, founf ourselves standing outside the Dunelm Mills store in Thurmaston where we helped collect £278.91 for the Appeal. On Sunday, 13th November, Minden Detachment attended the Remembrance Parade in Thurmaston Village where Cdt Smith awas awarded the honour of laying a wreath on behalf of the Army. CSgt Mellor took the Salute on behalf of the Army, as Minden Detachment proudly Marched past with the C “Tiger” Company Banner. Lt Colin Wells |
