‘C’ (Tiger) Company Open Day

On Saturday, 10 November 2007, over 150 family members and friends came to the annual ‘C’ (Tiger) Company open day at Ulverscroft Road, TA Centre.

Visitors were given a presentation that explain all about the Army Cadet Force as well as what the cadets actually get up to on parade nights, weekends and annual camp.

After the presentation, visitors went around a number of static displays prior to a parade and awards ceremony. After the formal parade, friends and family were treated to a display from each detachment ranging from drill and P.T. to skill at arms and first aid.

Afterwards, one parent commented; “That was fantastic. I’m so proud! What you do with these young people is absolutely amazing! I cannot believe the difference in my daughter since she’s been coming to cadets. Thank you.”
