Welcome Back......
Blackbird Road Detachment recently welcomed back ex Cdt LCpl Orme who left in December to join the army as a junior soldier. His first leave from the Army Foundation College in Harrogate since he started in January saw him visit all his friends at Blackbird Road. |

He was welcomed by the DC, CSgt Lee Middleton and he told us all how much he was enjoying the army life, and how it had not been as hard as he first thought thanks to the excellent training he received in C ‘Tiger’ Company. |

The only thing that was different was the weapon training, although after watching a SAA lesson he said afterwards that the new cadet weapon lessons were the same as he had recently beentaught in the army. Junior Soldier Orme is hoping that, after his 48 week basic training, he will go on to be an avionics technician in REME. At the end of the night he thanked everyone for making him so welcome and promised to keep us up to date with his progress. All at C ‘Tiger’ Company wish him the greatest success for the future and extend an invitation to all ex cadets who are serving in our forces to come back and tell us how they're getting on.
