County Awards Day 10th November 2007
The second County Awards ay took place at County Headquarters on Saturday 10th November.

The Adam Morris Trophy was instigated by the previous Commandant of LN&R ACF, Colonel Hurwood, in memory of Private Adam Morris of the 2nd Royal Anglian Regiment. Private Morris was tragically killed in May 2006 whilst on active service in Iraq. Prior to joing the Army he was a cadet at Coalville Troop for more than three years. The Trophy is awarded annually to a truly outstanding cadet who was shown exceptional qualities of ability, commitment and leadership.

Recently retired Adult Instructor, Staff Sgt Tony Davies of C Company was awarded the ACFA Certificate of Good Service.
Cadets Emma Pickworth and Charlotte Mitchelmore were presented with St Johns Ambulance Society "Young First Aider of the Year" Certificates, Cadet LCpl Bruce was presented with the Farnsworth Trophy and there were also awards for our Swimming and First Aid Teams.
During the mornings events Cadet LCpl Georgia Morton gave a short presentation about her 6 week exchange trip to Canada earlier this summer.
