Welcome Their New Commandant

Lieutenant Colonel Steve Davies, formerly our Training Colonel has been appointed the County’s new Commandant with effect from 1st October 2007.

Colonel Davies who has been with the ACF for twenty nine years took over as Commandant at the beginning of October 2007 succeeding Colonel R S Hurwood DL.

Colonel Davies said on his appointment, ‘I am delighted to be taking over one of the finest ACF’s in the country and I intend that it stays that way. Following Colonel Hurwood will be a challenge but a challenge I am greatly looking forward to.’
