County NewsCommandant Appoints New RSMIRegimental Sergeant Major Kristian Cross takes up the appointment of LNR ACF RSMI from the 1st September 2011. He has previously served as a Detachment Commander in numerous detachments, as the County Training Sergeant Major and most recently as Squadron Sergeant Major of B Squadron. At just 34 years old, he is the youngest RSMI to serve with LNR ACF. On beginning his new appointment, RSMI Cross said, “Over the past 16 years I have been privileged to serve in a variety of roles within LNR ACF and it has always been a personal ambition to serve as RSMI. Now that the dream has become a reality, and I feel both proud and humbled to have been appointed and I am looking forward to undertaking the duties and responsibilities that this prestigious position demands. I would also like to thank and congratulate RSMI Matts for the past 3 years of dedicated service, he has set a fantastic example that will be a tough act to follow. I look forward to getting out on the ground in the coming weeks, months and years and I will make every effort to support the cadets and adult instructors of LNR ACF to the very best of my ability”. |
