Senior Cadet Selected to represent LNR ACF in the Prestigious Claire Shore Champion Cadet Competition at Frimley Park.

We are delighted to announce that Cdt RSM Rico Gilbert of D Company has been chosen by the Committee at Frimley to go forward to the weekend selection of the above compeition in September.

The Competition is limited to 20 Master Cadets from the whole Country and selection is in 2 stages. The Initial Selection is conducted by the County Commandant who submits a Testimonial to Frimley Park where a Selection Committee studies the reports and selects the 20 competitors and 3 Reserves for Stage 2.  The cadet’s overall performance, both as a member of the ACF, and in the local community is considered at this stage and the Committee seeks to identify the most capable and inspiring Master Cadets.

The Competition stage of the weekend will take place at the Cadet Training Centre, Frimley Park over the weekend 4/6 Sep 09 and will consist of stands based on the APC Syllabus including Command Tasks, Weapon Training Tests, APC Syllabus Written Test, Night Orienteering Competition, Logical Problem Solving Exercise, Patrol Orders, Marksmanship, Drill, First Aid, an Interview by a Panel of Senior DS and a stalk.
