LNR ACF Cadet is Appointed
Cadet150 Ambassador for East Midlands

The Commandant, Colonel Stephen Davies, is delighted to announce the appointment of Cdt CSM Sam Troop of A Company, as a Cadet150 Ambassador.  He will represent the whole of the East Midlands Region which covers Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, and Rutland.

This is an extremely prestigious appointment and Cdt CSM Troop, who is likely to be invited to attend some high profile events throughout the year. He is delighted to have been selected from thousands of cadets and said:

"When the Commandant told me I had been chosen to be the cadet ambassador I couldn’t believe it; I was so shocked.  It took me a minute to actually process it, it was so overwhelming.  Once I had spoken to him about the position, I felt honoured that I had been chosen to represent so many other cadets.  I am very excited about the appointment and what it entails for the remainder of the year and I hope that I make LNR ACF very proud”

2010 is their 150th birthday of the Cadet Forces and it is being celebrated with Colourful parades, exciting events and competitions, and Expeditions to Africa and beyond.  It promises to be one of the most memorable and fun-packed years in the Cadet Forces’ history.  Cadet150 will be marked at all levels of the Cadet Forces and in many different ways across the country as well as within our own County.
