Company Weekend, September 2007
Friday 21st September 2007saw 40 Army Cadets from ‘D’ Company dispatched to Yardley Chase for their annual FTX.
Yardley Chase or ‘Yardlyski’ as it was called for the duration of the weekend, was home to the enemy forces and where they had made their base.

Our mission was to find the location of this hidden base and snoop about before putting in the odd attacks to frustrate the enemy’s plans and stop them infiltrating.

There was lots of running
around, getting more than a little muddy but several ambushes later
and when it was getting dark, the fun began; the enemy made prolonged
penetration patrols to locate our hide lasting late into the night.
