D Company NewsRothwell Detachment Rewarded For Their HelpOn the 19th of October Rothwell detachment were invited to attend the Desborough Carnival Annual General Meeting. During the meeting, the Treasurer (on behalf of the Chairman) expressed their appreciation for all the help we gave then at their Carnival earlier in the year and went on to say that it wouldn't have been as successful as it was, without our help. Following the meeting and their election Officers, their funds were distributed amongst various organisations and the committee very kindly donated £150 for us. The cheque was presented by the Desborough Carnival Queen and accepted by PAI Drage on behalf of the detachment. The occassion was well attended and many of the people there told me how impressed they were with the cadets turnout, bearing, behaviour and manners - well done to everyone concerned!
