Melton Mowbray Detachment – Royal British Legion Affiliation

Melton Army Cadet Force held a very successful Presentation night at their centre on Monday night. All of the cadets were presented with a badge from the Royal British Legion to denote their affiliation, which they now wear on their brassards.

British Legion affiliation is award to youth groups who have been working together with the Royal British Legion for a number of years. This was awarded to Melton ACF in October 2006 following over 40 years of support collecting for the poppy appeal and other local community work. The badges were presented on the night by Lt Col (Retd) Peter Roffey , President of Melton Mowbray Royal British Legion.
