	January saw the first annual Corby III NCO's mess dinner. Prior to the evening a PMC was voted in and Madam Vice found, all were briefed on mess etiquette, dresses bought, kilts hired and suits cleaned..... and hair done and that was just the males!!
The NCO's were met at the hotel entrance with a Bucks Fizz for pre-dinner drinks, all non-alcoholic! Time for dinner and to find your seat on the table. The table plan was based on those who had won awards at annual inspection then on seniority.
	Adults soon got hold of the name tags and secret massages were sent to PMC, Lcpl Thomson, who found them very amusing as he suddenly had lots of people that loved him!! After Dinner it was toasts and coffee then before you knew it time to go home the evening was over.

All agreed that it was a wonderful night, the NCO's were amazing and made me proud that they were mine. We are now looking forward to next years.
