Corby Cadets from Kingswood School Help Out During School Charity Day

Nearing the end of the Autumn Term Ardman House from Kingswood School in Corby held a charity day in aid of Help For Heroes.

Cadets from Corby III detachment who are pupils at the school attended in ACF uniform and assisted at the events that were held throughout the day. The ‘Military mascots’ as one teacher describe them were seen all over the school supporting anyone and everyone, especially when it came to throwing wet sponges at staff!  They also dropped in on all the tutor groups and sold Help For Heroes merchandise.

We also received a visit from police constable Vickers, who is also an SI at our detachment.

I would just say a big thank you to all the Cadets that took part - you helped the Ardman house raise almost £500. Well done!
