Peak Trek Two - June 2008

Twenty three cadets from Corby III, Alexandra and PWS Detachments attended the second Peak Trek which was held in June. They were joined on the weekend by 11 of the cadets who are hoping to go to Everest in October. |
Whilst the Peak Trek cadets
walked in the White Peaks, the Everest cadets were taken to the
Dark Peaks where they managed to successfully navigate across Kinderscout
(but not without finding plenty of Peak bogs). |

A special thanks to the OC, Major Davanna and RSM McIntyre who, at the last minute, ended up as chefs for the weekend. They were ably assisted by SMI Travis and SSI Ward, and did a sterling job cooking for nearly 50 people in a field kitchen. |
