Silver Peaks Expedition May 2008

Twelve cadets from E Company took part in a silver expedition in the Peak District over the period 30th May – 1st June.


Detachments represented were PWS, St Georges and Oakham. Half of those who went were on their silver actual whilst the other half were on a silver practice, so also passed their 3* expedition whilst away.
	The groups started from Tissington and ended up on the final day near Tideswell, having covered a distance of approximately 32 miles. The weather throughout varied from glorious sunshine to heavy rain, but the terrain was more of a test than the weather with complaints of "not another hill" frequently heard from certain team members!
