F Squadron News

On Saturday 17th January F Squadron Adults turned out in force, keen and enthusiastic to get their first real glimpse of the newly issued L98 A2 Rifle.

The Squadron adults were split into four groups under the tuition of SSM Ingle, SMI Gilbey,SMI Whitby and SSgt Gilbert. A member of the County Training Team was also there to oversee the lessons.

After a full morning of practice we broke for a short lunch break before returning for our Weapon handling tests. This is a mandatoey part of our training to ensure that we have the necessary knowledge and skills to pass on to our cadets.

Following a days training what better way ro end it than to go out for dinner. We invaded the local Harvester and chewed over the days training and the way forward. A different day without cadets, but thoroughly enjojoyed by all who took part.
